Congestion Buster app for iPhone and iPad

Congestion Buster is an app to assist travellers navigate road congestion. This app is not optimised for iPhone 6 or retina screens.

Hit the start journey button when you are about to drive off, make sure your GPS access is enabled for the app, and then just let it sit in the background.

You can even run a turn by turn navigation app in the foreground of the phone if you want.

As you drive around, Congestion Buster will alert you to road congestion that you have in front of you and will update in real time. It will talk out loud to you as you travel so you never need to look at the phone.

Please make sure to stop and park the car before you make any adjustments to the app on the phone or make changes to settings. Do not interact with the app actively while driving the car, only start and stop the app when parked.

If you are using one of the future OpenXC enabled cars then the app will automatically connect to your car audio and speak out to you through that.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
